Urbaneo took home two awards for two different approaches to rental housing at the Real Estate Project of the Year competition, which took place on January 22. The awards went to a modern new building in Brno and a sensitive renovation of a historic building in Prague. Both projects confirm that high-quality rental housing can take many forms, but with the same emphasis on architecture, technology, and long-term sustainability.

Cyril Residence
Special Award from Adresa magazine
Residence Cyril, a modern new building in Brno-Královo Pole, won a special award from Adresa magazine in the Real Estate Project of the Year competition. The project was recognized for its high-quality architectural design, well-thought-out layout, and emphasis on technologies that increase comfort and energy efficiency in living spaces. The residence offers fully equipped rental apartments designed in a “ready-to-live” concept, with heat recovery, ceiling heating and cooling, smart home technology, and an A energy rating. The award confirms that even new rental housing can meet high standards of quality and long-term sustainability.
Sovova 3
Expert Jury Award in Prague 8 region
The Sovova 3 residence in Prague’s Karlín district won the Expert Jury Award in Prague 8 for its sensitive renovation of a historic building. The project combines preservation of the building’s original character with the implementation of modern technologies and high standards of living. The solution includes, among other things, smart home technology, heat recovery, underfloor heating, and an emphasis on acoustic comfort. The award highlights the ability to combine historic architecture with the demands of contemporary urban living without compromising on quality.
