The founder of billion-dollar Notino has stepped out of the shadows.

And he goes into real estate

He regularly appears in rankings of the wealthiest Czechs, but in recent years he has kept a low profile and avoided the media. Michal Zámec, founder of Notino, one of the largest domestic e-shops, has now revealed what other projects he is working on. He has decided to send a new player into the Czech real estate market.

Urbaneo is currently preparing several development projects in Prague and Brno. For example, in Karlín, it is completing a project called Sovova 3, which combines historical architecture with modern elements and will offer apartments ranging from studios to four-room units. “We have renovated a First Republic building and transformed it into a modern residential building with only 15 apartments. This will provide tenants with plenty of privacy,” says Zámec. The project is located just a few steps from Forum Karlín, and the first tenants will be able to move in on October 1 this year.
